The weather in Weymouth hasn’t been too bad this week. The rain held off long enough for the thousands of people who lined the seafront and gathered on the beach to watch the spectacular fireworks display over the bay, while the bonfire crackled on the sand. Regatta Benthos Mens Jacket

The Regatta Benthos Mens Jacket has been around for a couple of seasons now, but is still one of the best competitively priced mens waterproof jackets on the market.

Available in two practical colours, the Regatta Benthos is one of the most popular jackets in the store.

Made using Regatta’s waterproof but breathable Isotex 10000 XPT coated double ripstop polyester, the Benthos is is ideal for protection from the autumn weather. The hood stows in the collar for easy access in a sudden downpour and an adjustable hem helps seals in warmth and keeps out the cold.

The elements are kept out with fully taped seems which means your jacket is completely waterproof and windproof. The XPT X-treme Performance technology fabric that is used in this jacket is also 30% more breathable than standard Isotex fabrics so you went get hot and clammy when out walking.

The Regatta Benthos Jacket is available in two great colours - Pepper and Seal Grey (Red and Grey) and Black and Seal Grey and retails at about half the price of some of the other technical waterproofs on the market today.

Regatta Panacea Mens

The Regatta Panacea Mens Jacket is a great little jacket that is perfect for the Autumn. Available in a lovely dark pink colour, called Canyon, the Regatta Panacea is perfect for wearing around town or walking along the beach.

It doesn’t have quite the same specification of the regatta Benthos Jacket above but you are certainly well protected against the elements with a the jacket that features Waterproof and breathable Isotex 8000 coated pyramid polyamide fabric with ATL durable water repellent treatment and taped seams throughout.

The neat little hood that can be detached and the coat come swith a studded and velcro double stormflap and drain channel - some of those nice little technical touches that makes this jacket just that little bit special.

Available in Saffron and Seal Grey (Yellow and Grey).

Regatta Woodland Waterproof Jacket with Fleece Inner

Available in a midnight navy blue colour, the Regatta Woodland Jacket is a great two-in-one waterproof coat that is great for the weekends. The generous cut makes it the perfect waterproof in larger sizes.

And because it has a fleece inner that can be removed, and a concealed hood with adjuster, the Regatta Woodloand is very functional.

If the weather is a bit on the chilly side - just zip in the inner fleece - alternatively, wear the jacket on its own and its a perfect autumn coat with the benefit that you will stay dry if you get caught in a shower.

The Regatta Shortwave Jacket is a great allround unisex waterproof that proves popular with the ladies.

Available in a dark mushroom colour (Clay) or navy blue, the Regatta Shortwave is a great colour for matching with almost anything. The generous cut also makes it the perfect waterproof in larger sizes.

Again, made using Hydrafort polyester fabric so you will be completely waterproof. The fabric is also double ripstop which means if you do catch an arm by accident it won’t rip and leave a gaping hole.

The Thermo-Guard insulation should keep you nice and warm right across the Winter months.

Top of the Regatta Waterproof Jacket table is the Regatta Entity 3 in 1 Waterproof Jacket with Shell Inner. Full waterproof and breathable this jacket is made with the revolutionary Isotex 10000 XPT fused diamond polyamide membrane fabric.

A bit of a mouthful - but in essence you have a fully water repellent coat that is 30% more breathable than standard Isotex fabrics.

Taped seams, detachable technical hood with adjuster, storm flaps all come as standard on the Regatta Entity and the extra money will also get you a Soft Shell Inner Fleece that can be removed if it gets a bit warm (or you want to wear it on its own)..

Available in Pepper Red colour.
