Regatta Arran 3 in 1 Waterproof Jacket

For outdoor pursuits, serious hiking or just simple dog walking, I don’t think you can’t beat the Regatta Arran 3 in 1 jacket to provide all year round protection against the elements. For me the beauty of this design is the flexible use of layers to suit the conditions.

An outer waterproof shell repels rain whilst a high-tech lightweight internal layer adds extra warmth. The 2 layers can be worn separately or in combination and I found them easy to attach and detach.

Here’s the technical bit: The Regatta Arran Waterproof jacket is made from Isotex 10000 XPT fabric with Atl durable water repellent treatment, taped seams and water repellent zips for extra protection from the rain. The windproof fabric offers increased levels of breathability being 30% more breathable than standard Isotex fabrics.

This enhanced breathability ensures comfort by allowing evaporation of unwanted body moisture, whilst retaining high levels of protection from the worst of external elements.

Regatta Quality

Regatta have really put a lot of thought into this design and the result is a fashionable black jacket that is practical, incredibly lightweight, durable and easy to clean. Added to which the warm but superlight materials can be easily compressed and packed down, making it a great addition to any walker’s rucksack or day sack. Attention to detail in this design is superb, with the cuffs, hood and hem all adjustable to ensure a snug fit. The pockets are also easy to access, even when wearing a rucksack, and there is also a useful map pocket.

In my opinion the Regatta Arran Waterproof jacket is a high performance waterproof jacket that offers outstanding value and is a great investment.
